VETERANS

The poppy has become a symbol to remember those lost during World War I, and has evolved to encompass veterans of other wars as well. Each year prior to Veterans Day, Sherwood sells fabric poppies to raise funds to help with veterans’ needs. We are currently working on a strategic imperative that will directly benefit homeless veterans in our area.
