UCAN

United Churches Assistance Network (UCAN) is an emergency assistance coalition of more than a dozen local churches that offers financial and referral help to those in need within the community. Most of UCAN’s funds help prevent evictions & utility turn-offs. Donations from Sherwood’s Thanksgiving service are directed to UCAN and Mother Nancy is a board member and there are several Sherwood parishioners who volunteer on a weekly basis at the UCAN outreach office.
